Have you ever thought of costuming as the Harley Quinn, the assistant to the Joker from the batman comics? I think with your makeup style and lovely shape and smile, you would look fabulous. Just a thought that came after you said you hated your smile. It reminded me of what I always thought hers would look like in real life.

I'm a bit of a big lass and I find it almost impossible to find nice little bits and pieces and beautiful looking bras with decent support.. PS. Christmas-esque makeup...
Hello kittens!
I realise that i’ve not posted about makeup in a wee while, and in the run up to christmas i’ve been playing around with what look i’m wanting to go for on the big day!
I recently treated myself to some Urban Decay palattes and i’ve been trying to make the most of them by trying some new smokey eye looks and merging colours. On a day to day basis i am rarely without red lipstick and liquid eyeliner flicks -i do try to maintain the modern pinup look at all times!- but i’ve been expanding my makeup based horizons lately.
Above is a quick wee snap i took of myself when i attempted a blue/teal smokey eye and nude lip makeup. How i achieved this is outlined below:
To create these glossy nue lips, i firstly lined my lips with a MAC lip pencil in “subculture”, going outwith the natural line of my lips slightly to create a more full and plump appearance. I then filled in with a Rimmel lipstick. This lipstick is my new favourite, it’s the perfect balance of creamy, glossy and natural; the aptly named “vintage pink” To finish, i applied a small amount of MAC lipglass to the cupid’s bow of my upper lip and the centre of my lower lip - by doing this the lips will naturally appear fuller and plumper.
To create this smokey eye look, i used my Urban Decay Primer potion to prime my eye ready for eyeshadow; as this look relies fairly heavily on lots of shadow this is an important step! The entire eyelid is coated with a silvery-whiet eyeshadow from MUA’s new palattes. Using a small eyeshadow brush, a small amount of Urban Decay’s “flipside” is applied along the orbital bone of the eye (the area just above the crease). By applying makeup here, this instantly opens the eye to appear more open and youthful in appearance. This is then blended out with a grey shadow from MUA and a miniscule amount of “uzi” eyeshadow from the Urban Decay palatte. This pattern is then repeated along the lower eyelash line, after the inner water line of the eye is coated with black kohl liner. After this, liquid eyeliner is applied to the uppe lash line and swooped out in a delicate sex-kitten flick. Lastly, i applied eyelure false lashes in 107 to my upper lid- my trick when applying false lashes is to allow 30 seconds for the glue to become tacky before attaching them to your lash line. A couple coats of mascarato bond the falsies to your natural lashes and viola! A lovely christmassy makeup look, perfect for the festive season. :D
